JUNE - PROVINCIAL LITERACY 10/12 AND NUMERACY 10 ASSESSMENTS

June Assessment Sessions for Grade 10 – 12 students

STUDENTS CANNOT GRADUATE WITHOUT WRITING LITERACY 12! 

ANY GRADE 12 STUDENT THAT HAS NOT PREVIOUSLY WRITTEN LITERACY 10 AND NUMERACY 10 MUST DO SO TO GRADUATE!

Those who need to write a grade 10 level assessment (Numeracy 10 or Literacy 10), will have the opportunity to do so (see full schedule below). 

Students who are more than 30 minutes late, may not write the assessment.
Students are encouraged to bring identification. Assessment administration staff must check the acceptable ID of all students not known to them.  Students to confirm they are logged in under the correct PEN and name. Students must leave any items not specifically authorized, in a designated area. Unauthorized items include notes, smartwatches, cell phones and any other electronic devices. Invigilators may hand out scrap paper, but all pages must be collected and shredded at the end of the session.

On the day that you are writing please come early to Portable #7 (MSS Campus) as you are required to sign in and then one of our teachers/staff will escort you to the Library.  
Please remember to bring a student ID, photo ID Card or passport. 
All assessments will be written in the Mission Secondary Library.

Please note you will need to know your Student Login and Passphrase.

Students with IEPs: Mrs. Stevens will be reaching out to students who have exam accommodations listed on their IEPs with further information.

We ask that Summit students please confirm with your teacher or the office which day/time you will be attending to write your required assessment(s).

Summit Students have the option of choosing to write their assessment(s) on the following day(s) and time slots:

Monday June 13th 
8:30am - 11:30am
12:00pm - 3:00pm
 -----------------------
Tuesday June 14th
8:30am - 11:30am
12:00pm - 3:00pm

 
To set students up for success, encourage them to view the introductory videos, attempt a sample assessment, review scoring rubrics, and look at examples of student responses. These resources can be found on the webpage of each assessment:
